Stefan Xiori
Born in Gjirokastër, Albania, Stefan Xiori began studying violin at the age of six at the local music school in his hometown. He went on to attend the Professional High School of Music before enrolling at the National Conservatory of Music in Tirana, where he studied from 1985 to 1989. He graduated with a degree in violin performance and pedagogy.
During his early career in Albania, Stefan served as Concertmaster of the Gjirokastër Symphony Orchestra and later as Concertmaster of the Tirana Conservatory of Music Orchestra (1989–1992). As a soloist, he performed cornerstone works of the violin repertoire, including Beethoven’s Romances and Saint-Saëns' Introduction and Rondo Capriccioso.
In 1993, Stefan relocated to the United States, where he has built a distinguished career as both a performer and orchestral leader.
