Piano Times Two!
One of the nicest memories of my time with my wife was playing music written for two pianos and for one piano with 4 hands.
Some of the most beautiful music was written for two pianos and for piano/four-hands. It was, after all, the only way people could enjoy music back then. Major composers such as Beethoven, Faure, Schubert, wrote specifically for this instrumentation.
This is an hour long performance of the most beautiful selections including Faure’s Dolly Suite, Scott Joplin Rags, Copeland’s Hoe Down, Ginestera Tangos, and more.
The great thing about this concert is you don’t even need to have a piano at your facility! The examples you hear are made with very realistic digital piano sounds. The concert can be performed with my keyboard, or with a real piano and the computer. Either way it’s a beautiful sound.
One of the favorites is Der Rosencavalier from Strauss.
Scott Joplin rags are popular with many people but it’s a different experience with two pianos. Here’s an example of the Pineapple Rag by Scott Joplin.
Enjoy and hour of beautiful music which will lift the spirits of your residents and enrich their lives for only $300.00. If you would like to schedule this concert, you can do so on this web site.
Also consider the Frank Violin Sonata and Beethoven Spring Sonata performed by Stefan Xiori.
