Michael Toth

Michael started studying piano when he was 7 with Marjorie Haimbach in Langhorn PA. Marjorie was a superb teacher especially for young beginners. Through her training I was able to prepare a debut concert in NYC when I was 14.

I went on to study piano at Eastman School of Music and the University of Notre Dame getting a Masters Degree in piano performance.

At that time, I became fascinated with computers since the first personal computers were appearing on the market. I learned how to build my own computer from scratch (shown below). Because of this interest, I went back to school and got my Masters in Electrical Engineering.

With this education, I had a career in Engineering with AT&T Bell Labs while continuing my musical interests.

Since moving to Allentown, PA, I was fortunate to acquire the position of principal piano for the Allentown Symphony Orchestra. I have also performed with many chamber groups and performed solo concerts in the Lehigh Valley.
